NMIMS NPAT 2017 - Application Form, Dates, Eligibility

NPAT 2016 (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs being offered by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC act 1956) at Mumbai, Shirpur and Bengaluru Campuses for the academic session 2016-2017. The NMIMS offers the following programmes.

Undergraduate Degree Programmes Offered

  • Registration Closes for NPAT 2016: 3rd May 2016   
  • Call letters for NPAT 2016 will be available: 9th May 2016
  • Conduct of NPAT 2016 Online Test: Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th May 2016

Eligibility

B.Tech. & MBA. (Tech) 
  • The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate/ & D. P. awarded are not eligible).
  • Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB).
  • English as compulsory subject. 
  • Minimum 50% marks in (PCM/PCB).
  • Those awaiting their 10+2 exam result this year may also apply.
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.

MBA Pharma Tech (B.Pharm + MBA)
  • The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate/ & D. P. awarded are not eligible). 
  • Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). • English as compulsory subject. 
  • Minimum 50% marks in (PCM/PCB). 
  • Those awaiting their 10+2 exam result this year may also apply
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.

B.Sc. Finance / B.Com (Hons.) / B.B.A
  • The Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate / & D.P. Awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at first attempt. 
  • Must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent examination for being eligible to B.Com. (Hons.) program & 60% aggregate marks for being eligible to B.B.A. & B.Sc. (Finance) Program.
  • Candidate's passing in Mathematics/ Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent exam is compulsory for being eligible to B.B.A / B.Com (Hons) / B.Sc (Finance). 
  • Candidate with IB Diploma applying for B.B.A / B.Sc. (Finance) program is eligible only if he/she has offered & passed in Mathematics/ Statistics at Standard level. 

B.Sc Economics
  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate / & D.P. awarded candidates are not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board in the first attempt and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. The candidate must have passed in Mathematics / Statistics at 10+2 or equivalent examination.
  • For IB candidate, the student must have Standard Level (SL) Mathematics / Statistics to be eligible for the program.
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.
  • International School/s candidates will have to submit AIU certificate of equivalence to confirm their eligibility for the program as equivalent to (10+2) examination/s.
  • The candidate who has NOT cleared the 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt is NOT eligible to apply for the course.

  • Online Registration Fee of Rs. 1800/- (please refer online registration for payment details). 
  • Registration Fee is non-refundable. 
  • Candidates are given choice to register for multiple programs (School wise). List of Schools and programs under NPAT 2016 are as follows:

NPAT 2016 Registration Fees

  • Rs. 1800/- for programs of one school.
  • Rs. 3000/- for programs of two schools.
  • Rs. 4000/- for programs of three schools.
  • Rs. 5000/- for programs of four schools.

Admit Card

You are required to download the call letter/admit card from our website www.nmims.edu or www.npat.in from online registration link. No candidate, without call letter/admit card or without the photograph on the call letter/admit card will be permitted to appear for the test. No separate call letter will be mailed / posted. Candidate must carry any one requisite original ID proof along with photocopy of the same while appearing for NPAT 2016

NPAT 2016 Pattern

The NPAT 2016 would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions). The NPAT 2016 will comprise of 3 major parts as follows:

For each question for which a wrong answer is marked, 1/4th of the marks allotted to those questions will be deducted as penalty. Type of questions and difficulty level of Tests will be on SAT Pattern.
