Central Universities invites applications for Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET 2017) for admission to Integrated UG and PG programmes, for the academic year 2017-18.

This all-India test is being organized by 11 Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar, engaluru Dr B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE) and Tamil Nadu (called Participating Universities, PUs) which were established by an act of Parliament in the year 2009 will organize a combined Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET-2017) for admission to about 322 Integrated/ undergraduate, Post-graduate and Research Programmes in these Universities. It provides a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in nine central universities across the country.

  • Commencement of Online Registration: 20th March, 2017
  • Closing Date of Online Registration: 14th April, 2017
  • Date of Admit Card Upload: 05th May, 2017
  • Examination Date: 17th-18th May, 2017
  • Answer Key Upload: 19th May, 2017
  • Grievances, if any upto: 05:00 pm on 22nd May, 2017
  • Corrected Answer Key read: 29th June, 2017
  • Result Declaration 7th June, 2017

How to Apply

  • Detailed information about CUCET-2017 is available on CUCET website 
  • Candidates are required to apply online through CUCET-2017 website. General Information for filling the online application can be obtained from CUCET-2017 website.
  • Applicants are required to fill in the details in the form carefully. On submission of online application, successfully the students will get successful completion message in the online case
  • In the offline case the candidate will get a message after reconciliation from the bank within 2-3 days.
  • A candidate may fill the form partially and login again to complete it later; candidates will receive SMSs and Email alerts at the time of registration and after completing payment through online, in the offline case the student will get a message after reconciliation from SBI.

The entire application is in 8 stage process

Stage 1: From website you can directly click on the apply button to go to the registration for the three programs UG, PG and RP link we can see; the following is the screen shot you will get once you click on Apply button from home page it will go the stage 2
Stage 2: The following is the screen shot to apply the three programs UG, PG and RP; the candidate can click on any one link as per his/her choice
Stage 3: The following is the screen shot for registration process into various program; after successful registration candidate will get a mail and message to the respective register mail id and mobile

Stage 5: In this stage a candidate can upload his/her photo and sign scan copy with the limited size
Stage 6: In this stage a candidate can register for the three courses in a particular selected program from each university
Stage 7: In this stage a candidate can edit his application form and go for payment processes in online and offline (SBI Only) mode
Stage 8: In this stage student can proceed for payment processes Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree /certificate are also eligible to apply

Application Fee

The fee for CUCET-2017 for different categories of the candidates would be as follows, which shall be payable in CUCET-2017 account:
  1. For General/ OBC Candidates: Rs.800/- + Bank Commission Rs.50/- Total Fee to be Paid: Rs.850/-
  2. For SC /ST Candidates: Rs.350/- + Bank Commission Rs.50/- Total Fee to be Paid: Rs.350/-
  3. PwD Candidates: All PWD candidates are exempted from CUCET-2017 fees as per Govt. of India
