NBA School of Mass Communication, New Delhi conducts All India Media Studies Aptitude Test (AIMSAT) for admission into its Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes in Mass Communication. AIMSAT is one of the most desirous competitive examinations for the Mass Communication aspirants. A large number of candidates are taking this exam to pursue their career in the Mass Communication Sector for both Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs.

Masters in Mass Communication + PGDMC
  • Candidates applying for PGDMC must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 45% marks from any of the Universities incorporated under an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. 
  • The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2). 
  • Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are awaiting results can also apply.

Bachelor in Mass Communication + GDMC
Candidates applying for GDMC + BMC must have completed higher secondary schooling (10+2) with at least 45% marks from any recognized board. 10+ 2 appearing students are also eligible for taking the exam.

How to Apply

Application form can be downloaded from Candidates need to send the filled application form along with a draft of Rs. 500 in the name of ''NBA Group of Institutions'' payable at New Delhi. Form can also be purchased from the institute with cash payment. Kindly include all the educational qualification documents along with the form. Prior to filling the form, aspirants are recommended to read through the instructions very carefully. In case any of the instructions mentioned are not followed, form shall be rejected. Always keep a copy of the original filled form for future reference.

How to fill the Form?

  • The form must be filled correctly in candidate's handwriting only
  • Only use blank ball point pen to fill the Boxes and an HB pencil to color the circles in the form
  • All pertinent columns must be filled without fail
  • The admission form is to be filled in Capital Letters Only
  • The form must not be damaged or have any sort of problems

Test Centre

The entrance test(s) will be held at Jain Studios Campus, Scindia Villa, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi.

Entrance Exam Pattern

  • Test will comprise of objective as well as descriptive questions.
  • Time limit: 90 minutes.
  • Section 1 is objective based wherein students need to attempt the questions on general knowledge, verbal ability.
  • Section 2 is descriptive based wherein students need to attempt questions on comprehension and language.
  • Entrance exam will be bilingual i.e. Hindi or English.

Stage I : Admissions Test (AIMSAT)

Stage II : Personal Interview (PI)
Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview at Jain Studios Campus, New Delhi based on their performance in AIMSAT.

Stage III : Selected students will be called upon for Registration
