Suresh Gyan Vihar University Admission Notification 2016 has been announced. Admissions to engineering programs of Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) for the academic year 2016-17 shall be made on the basis of a PC-based online test or a conventional paper-and-pen based offline test, conducted by SGVU. This test shall be referred to as GVSAT-2016. GVSAT-2016 shall be conducted for the following undergraduate engineering programs of SGVU:

B.Tech
Computer Science,Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , Mechatronics, Biotechnology, Agriculture.

Dual Degree
(B.Tech. E&C + M.Tech. VLSI/IC/DWCE/SE) (B.Tech. Electrical + M.Tech. Power Sys/Energy) (B.Tech. Comp. Science. +M.Tech. SE/IC/VLSI) (B.Tech. Mech + M.Tech. Manuf./Energy)

Important Dates

Last Date of Application : 07th May 2016  
Admit Card Generation : 15th May 2016
Date of Examination Online : 26th May to 30th May 2016
Date of Examination Offline : 20th May to 25th May 2016
Result Declaration : 15th June 2016

Eligibility

10+2 (Physics, Chemistry,Mathematics & English) with Aggregate 65%.Physics/Biology for Agriculture and Biotechnology program.

Application Process

  1. Application Fee : Rs. 300/-
  2. Candidates can apply GVSAT 2016 either online or offline
  3. The candidate is required to download the offline Application Form from website http://www.gyanvihar.org/ or can be obtained from the University or different form centres.
  4. Alternatively candidates can apply online on www.gyanvihar.org/gvsat by clicking the "Apply Online" button.

GVSAT 2016 Syllabus

GVSAT-2016 test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class.

GVSAT 2016 Pattern

  1. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions) 
  2. Each question with a choice of four answers, only one being the correct choice. 
  3. Each correct answer fetches 2 marks. 
  4. No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. There is no negative marking either. 
  5. There will be 120 questions in all.The number of questions in each part is as follows:
    Physics/Biology : 30 Chemistry : 30
    English Proficiency : 30
    Mathematics : 30
Candidates who want to apply for Biotehnology or Agriculture can choose for Physics/Biology any one paper and Chemistry, English and Mathematics.
