St John's National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore invites applications for admission into its  Post Graduate Medical and Dental Programmes (MD/MS/Diploma) for the academic year 2016-2017. Admissions are based on merit of candidates determined by the performance of applicants in All India Common Entrance Examination and Interview.

The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and recognised for the following post-graduate degree/diploma courses, with the approval of the Medical Council of India and the Government of Karnataka.

Eligibility

  1. Candidates having qualified for the M.B.B.S Degree from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India and should have satisfactorily completed the Rotating Compulsory Internship of one year before the starting of the courses, and registered with the Indian Medical Council and thereafter preferably served in India for a period of at least TWO years in medically underserved areas, recognised as such by this Institution are eligible to apply for the Post graduate Degree and Diploma courses.
  2. A person can apply for any three degree courses. In specialities with both P.G degree & diploma, a single appplication for the subject can be made. Allotment of degree/diploma seats will be according to the final merit list.
  3. Special consideration will be given to alumni of St. John's Medical College who have served in medically underserved areas and underprivileged people, recognised as such by the College.

Application Process

Application forms for the P.G Entrance Exam 2016 will be available ONLINE ONLY at http://admissions.stjohns.infrom 15th December 2015. The last date for online application submission is 8th February 2016, 11:59 pm. Beyond the deadline no application will be accepted. Applications can be submitted only once and cannot be resubmitted.

Application Fee

  • APPLICATION FEE: Rs. 3000/-  includes Application form fees and Entrance Test fee for ONE (1) subject.
  • Additional subject/s: Rs. 1,000/- per subject (upto a maximum of TWO (2) Additional Subjects).

Note: The maximum number of subjects a candidate can opt for is 3 (Three)

  1. The application fee can be paid by online payment mode only
  2. You can use a Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking for making the payment online.
  3. Please ensure that you get a confirmation for the amount paid online. This will be provided to you online once your transaction has been successfully completed.

Test Pattern

  1. The Examination will consist of multiple choice questions. Please refer the Mock Test section for a Mock Test.
  2. The Entrance Examination Results will be the basis for further interviews and final selection.

Selection Process

  1. There will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). This test will cover all the undergraduate M.B.B.S. subjects.
  2. The examination commences at 9.30 a.m. and the duration of the paper is 3 hrs. All candidates who wish to take the CBT are required to be in their assigned seats at the time, date and place stipulated.
  3. Based on the performance in the test, candidates will be called for an interview at short notice before the Selection Committee. Candidates may have to appear for a Clinical test during the interviews.
  4. Candidates must come prepared to pay the fees and join the Post Graduate Course immediately thereafter.
  5. Admission to various courses will be provisional and is subject to confirmation of eligibility by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences(RGUHS). The decision of the University with regard to eligibility is final. The selected candidate should obtain the Eligibility Certificate personally from the University and submit it along with other certificates before paying the fees.
  6. The duration of the various courses and syllabi will be as laid down by the RGUHS from time to time. The date of commencement of the classes will be notified as per the calendar of events of the Rajiv Gandhi University.
  7. Any dispute regarding the admission procedure is subject to the jurisdiction of Courts in Bangalore only.
