Delhi School of Economics, DU invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into its MBA (International Business) Programme for the academic year 2016-17. Department of commerce,  Delhi School of Economics, DU introduced full time two-year MBA(IB) to lay special emphasis on aspects of international business operations including global marketing and international financial management. The main objective of the programme is to develop candidates suitable for entry level managerial positions in the field of international business management.

Indian Students
  • Passed Bachelor’s Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any discipline, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system. Relaxation in eligibility for students of reserved category would be as per university rules.
  • Appeared for CAT 2015 conducted by Indian Institute of Management(IIMs).

Note: Candidates appearing in the final year examination of Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. If selected, candidates will be eligible for admission only when they submit the result meeting the minimum eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

Foreign Students
The Foreign Nationals seeking admission in the University shall have to get themselves registered with the Foreign Students Registry (FSR) in compliance with the schedule notified by the FSR. No Foreign students will be admitted directly by the Department.

  • Application form can be submitted without CAT Score followed by submission of CAT score latest by 1st February,2016(Monday) 12:00 AM failing which their applications will not be considered.
  • Enter your CAT percentile score by 1st February,2016(Monday) 12:00 AM with the help of link provided on our website.

Selection Procedure

A three-layered selection procedure, i.e., the CAT Percentile, the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview is followed for admission to both the programmes. This is done with a view to identify and process the interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge of the students.

Candidates are required to submit their CAT score after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs. Thereafter, the candidates which are short-listed on the basis of their CAT percentile will be called for GD and interview.
