The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, invites applications for admission into its MBA Programme for the academic year 2016-17. Admissions to MBA programme (On campus) of BITS Pilani, at its Pilani campus, for the I Semester 2016-17 will be made on the basis of CAT 2015/GMAT scores together with group discussion (GD) and interview(s) of candidates.

Duration: Normally four semesters.

Important dates and deadlines

  • Deadline for submission of the Applications: 15th February 2016 
  • Announcement of Shortlist based on CAT/GMAT scores 27th February 2016
  • GD/Interview start: March 4th week/ April 1st week 2016
  • Announcement of admission offers: 10th May 2016
  • Admission of Selected students: 29th July 2016
  • Freshmen Orientation Programme: 30-31st July 2016
  • Registration for courses: 1st August 2016


  1. B.E./B.Tech in Engineering disciplines or a Masters Degree in any discipline from any recognized university or any Integrated First Degree of BITS. 
  2. Candidates should have obtained minimum of 60% aggregate marks in qualifying degree.  

How to Apply

  1. Interested and eligible candidates should apply through the prescribed application form available online at and take the printout of the filled form.
  2. The completed application form along with the prescribed fee should be sent to Dean, Admissions, BITS, Pilani-333031. Mode of fee payment is given while applying online.
  3. Application Fee: Rs.2090/-
  4. Deadline for submission of the completed application form online is 5.00 P.M. on 15th February 2016.
  5. Completed application form is to be sent by registered post/speed post to the under-mentioned: The Dean, Admissions, BITS Pilani, Pilani – 333 031 (Rajasthan)

Note: A candidate can submit only one application form for MBA Admissions. However if a candidate discovers any mistake in the form submitted by him, he can submit a second application form duly completed before the last date, indicating on the top of second application form that his first application form (giving its number) should be cancelled. In such cases, the second application has to be accompanied by a fresh application fee.
