GSIB Entrance Test GET 2016, Notification, Application, Dates, Eligibility

Gitam School of International Business(GISB), Vishakapatnam a constituent of Gitam University announces GISB Entrance Test GET 2016 for admission into its Master in Business Administration (MBA) courses for the academic year 2016-2017. Further details, including applications, Information Brochures, registration fee to be paid, etc., are made available here.

GET’16 is compulsory for those applicants who have not taken any of the other valid tests, and is optional for those who already possess any of the given exam(CAT-15, XAT-16, MAT (Sep’15, Dec’15, Feb’16 and May’16), GET’16, GMAT /CMAT – 1st & 2nd tests) scores.

GET 2016 Eligibility

  1. 50% aggregate marks in any Bachelor’s Degree (after 10+2) from a recognized university. 
  2. Those awaiting results of Final Year Degree examinations may also apply. 
  3. However, if proof of successful completion of graduation (Marks sheets) is not submitted by 30th, September 2015, their admission will be automatically cancelled without refund of fee.

How to Apply GET 2016

  1. Application can be submitted "on line" by visiting website: www.gsib.org 
  2. Alternatively, the application can also be downloaded from the School's website www.gsib.org and submitted duly filled in, enclosing a DD for Rs.1000/- in favor of "GITAM School of International Business", payable at Visakhapatnam. 
  3. Candidates have to register for GET'16 in the same application by paying an additional fee of Rs.500/-

GET 2016 Test Pattern

  1. The test is for 120 marks with 120 questions to be answered in 120 minutes. 
  2. Three sections conclude the question paper with Section: I–Verbal Ability (40 questions); Section: II–Logic & Data Interpretation (40 questions); Section: III – Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions), with each question carrying 1 mark.
