Manipal University has announced the MU Online Entrance Test, MU-OET 2016 which will be held in the months of March and April of  the year 2016 for admission to MBBS course in Kasturba Medical College. Last Date to Apply: 11-March-2016
Course Commencement Date: 1-August-2016


  1. Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  taken together.  
  2. A minimum of 50% in the entrance examination Manipal University Online Entrance Test.
  3. DATE OF BIRTH of candidate should fall on or before 31.12.99.

How to Apply MU-OET 2016

  1. A student applying under General category for the undergraduate courses and Post Graduate course under General/Foreign/NRI/ categories can apply Online.

  3. A photograph and a copy of your signature has to be uploaded
  4. The total fee for application includes the application fee of INR 600, mandatory for all Indian applicants and an entrance test fee of INR 1400, only for selected courses.

MU-OET 2016 Test Pattern

  1. The computer based MU OET Medical 2016 exam will be conducted tentatively in the month April – May, 2016. 
  2. The exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.  
  3. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ).
  4. The approximate distribution of questions is as follows: Physics – 50; Chemistry – 50; Biology – 70; English & General Aptitude - 30.

MU-OET 2016 Admit Card

  1. The system generates the e-hall ticket 24 hours after you have booked your schedule through the online test booking system.
  2. It is issued to applicants who book their slots using the online test booking system before the booking end date for respective courses as per the booking schedule.
