National Board of Examinations (NATBOARD) has announced the Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Test (FMGE) December 2015 for Indian Nationals with Foreign Medical Qualifications who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council. Important Dates for FMGE 

Online Registration for FMGE:  16th Sept to 22th Oct 2015
Examination Dates for FMGE:  9th December to 10th December 2015
Declaration of Results:  10th January 2016

Eligibility for FMGE 

1.      He / She is a citizen of India or Overseas Citizen of India.
2.  The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognized qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated.
3.     Cut-off date for obtaining the Primary Medical Qualification is on or before 30th November, 2015.
4.   Candidate seeking provisional or permanent registration shall not have to qualify the Screening Test if he/she holds an Under Graduate medical qualification from Australia/ Canada/New Zealand/United Kingdom/United States of America and the holder thereof has also been awarded a Post Graduate medical qualification in Australia/Canada/ New Zealand/ United Kingdom/United States of America and has been recognized for enrolment as medical practitioner in that country.

Application Procedure for FMGE 

1.      Click here to register now.
2.     The prescribed registration fee should be remitted through payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks of India or through Net Banking.
3.   At the end of Registration & Scheduling process the applicant will get a computer generated acknowledgment at the registered email ID of the applicant. Admit card will be issued to candidate once the registration and scheduling process is successfully completed.
4.     Candidate is required to print a copy of admit card and affix a latest passport size photograph of the following specifications on the admit card. Candidate is required to bring the admit card to the Test centre along with an identification document

FMGE Test Pattern

1.       The exam consists of one paper, comprising 300 multiple choice, single correct response questions in English language only, delivered in two parts to be taken in a single day.
2.       The examination shall be a multiple choice questions test delivered using computer network as per prescribed scheme.
3.       Negative Marking: There shall be no negative marking.

Note: FMGE is divided into two parts of 150 questions each with time allocation of 150 minutes for each part. There is a scheduled break between the two parts.
